What do all knitters have in common? We love to knit!
We love knitting, crochet and some of us quilting. We love to get our yarn and knitting needles or crochet hooks out and whip up a cable knit sweater, gloves or a cap. Lots of us love to go to knitting classes or go searching for knitting patterns at garage or flea sales.
Me? I love to crochet flowers. I have them all over my bedroom, bathroom and even up the stairs. I also love to collect old knitting magazines stuffed with knitting and crochet patterns. Nothing thrills me more than to find a really old crochet pattern full of crochet or knitting stitches.

i have 1 week before school left. but idk what or who to choose! 1: My school friends are throwing a surprise birthday party for one of our friends, and i really wanna go cause last year during her party her brother got in an accident and died. also i was going to teach my aunt how to knit, and i need to go to my new school pick classes for my senior year! but then again... 2: My church friend kathy invited me to camp for 1 week. I have never been camping and ive always wanted to go. everyone ALWAYS tells me how fun it is, cause theres a lake, bonfires, hot shirtless guys, no parents, etc! my ex-best friend is going, whos been trying to prove that she has more fun w/o me. Also, my crush is going! ;) soo what do u think i should pick!!! PLEASE HELP! party, knitting, classes at new school! or Camping w/ friends!
as my job involves shift work i cannot join any knitting classes so are there any easy books for beginner knitters that anyone can recommend
SO I was in class with my crush. He kind of infered and asked me out. I got weirded out because I am the kind of person that has a pre determined picture of events and I had imagined that he would ask me out in an overly romantic way. In my tight knit class this guy and I were the couple to be, everyone was obsessed with our "relationship". So I said "noooooo", because I thought he was joking. Turns out he wasn't. I ruined a great friendship and bond. We are no longer friends :( between brendan and john, gonna put this to a vote.
when I was in primary school they had a knitting class and they made SOMETHING out of coat hangers and wool...ringing any bells? I think they made some sort of heart? They did NOT make coathanger covers.
Okay well he's in my world geography class, which is a very close knit class. And one day he gave me flowers! So I was like, okay? The next day he gave me his number! (And lets not forget this kid is special-ed, like he has anger issues and stuff.) And the day after that, he gave me a hug, which was really uncomfortable and the whole class was looking. And now he tries to talk to me at my locker and like, it really is making me uncomfortable. I'm nice to him and stuff but he keeps trying to touch me and I'm not comfortable with that, and plus the whole class knows and is making jabs at us. So yeah, what should I do? Like, how do I tell him to back off a little? Wait, scratch that, how do I tell him to straight up LEAVE ME ALONE? He's really creeping me out. And plus I have a boyfriend.
