What do all knitters have in common? We love to knit!
We love knitting, crochet and some of us quilting. We love to get our yarn and knitting needles or crochet hooks out and whip up a cable knit sweater, gloves or a cap. Lots of us love to go to knitting classes or go searching for knitting patterns at garage or flea sales.
Me? I love to crochet flowers. I have them all over my bedroom, bathroom and even up the stairs. I also love to collect old knitting magazines stuffed with knitting and crochet patterns. Nothing thrills me more than to find a really old crochet pattern full of crochet or knitting stitches.

Was in a simply knitting magazine in 2007 I should add that it is out of print, unavailable from the publisher and designer- the only way to get a copy is from someone who bought it previously
Creative Knitting Magazine. January 2009 issue. Easy Basket-Weave Cardigan..page 16. I have never made a cardigan before and do not understand the instructions for "Shape neck". Instructions are as follows: "Shape neck At beg of WS row, bind off [8 sts] once, [3 sts] once, [2 sts] once, and [1 st] once. Work even on rem 18 sts until front is same length as back." I understand and can do the basic bind off but I don't understand what I am to do here......do I cut the yarn after each set of sts to be bound off? Am I to bind them off all together? I am completely lost. Thanks in advance!
Sweater pattern: Twisted Check Pull.......Creative Knitting Magazine..... March 2009 page 33 Back of sweater: Cast on 87 sts, Work 2 rows of rev St, st, 6 rows of Twisted Rib pat, then 2 rows of rev St st, inc 1 sts on last row.....88 sts. I don't understand (inc 1 sts on last row....88sts.) Does that mean 1 stitch added ONLY on the last row and no other row? Do I increase by using the Bar Increase? Thanks for the help!
What is the name of any popular knitting magazine in Denmark? Where can I get a copy (even a used one) in the US? Thank you. Thank you so much! This sounds like a lot of good information, I am definitely going to check it out!
